Ulf Abrahamsson is a Human Behaviour Specialist for Safety-Critical Teams and a speaker on human factors, safety culture and communication under pressure. He helps organizations reduce incidents by strengthening the one factor that influences every on-site decision: the person behind the safety. For more than two decades, Ulf has worked across maritime worldwide, offshore, oil and gas, heavy construction and emergency response roles. His experience ranges from deck and crane operations, offshore emergency response, offshore smoke diving and rescue work, through to safety and emergency leader roles across major offshore projects in Norway and the UK.

He has served as an Emergency and Operative Leader, HSSE Advisor and frontline safety representative, working on sites where human judgement, communication and readiness determine the outcome long before any procedure does.

That frontline perspective is what makes Ulf’s insights practical and trusted. He has seen firsthand how 80 to 90 per cent of workplace accidents involve a human element, even in organisations with strong systems in place.
